I have already seen some videos and I must say that the show looks very good. Definitely better and larger than Farewell. The set looks cool, probably because of the large LED screen which really creates a new mood for each song. The new costumes I have seen look perfect. They are hot and quite modern and less kitschy that those in Vegas. It is a pity if she uses some old costumes. Why? There are only two things I regret: she does not dance – as usual; and I would change some songs that I have heard zillion times for some new ones. E.g. I´d change WALKING IN MEMPHIS and JESSE JAMES for RED and MY LOVE.
AGREE!! change those older songs too,, and also add SIRENS,, show off her POWER BALLAD CHORDS
I’m a huge Cher fan, but this show is a total disappointment. Pretty much just the same show and setlist she’s been doing since the Believe tour. The video at the beginning showing all of the album covers is just like the Farewell tour intro video. And instead of riding an elephant, it’s a horse this time. Same old silly clown costumes. And the setlist is pretty much the same old boring songs. How many times do we need to hear Dark Lady, Strong Enough (Which wasn’t even that big of a hit), The Beat Goes On, and Just Like Jesse James? My goodness, if this is your last tour, try singing some songs you’ve never done on tour before. Why not The Music’s No Good Without You, Alive Again, I Paralyze, or When The Love Is Gone? Well, I’m glad I didn’t bother buying tickets this time around.
I’m afraid I have to agree. She could have made such fantastic stage acts with all the new songs from her new album. Imagine Red with everything made in red and lots of lights or Womans World surrounded by a lots of women and plenty of news/magazines/articles/gossip about Cher on all those screens. And to be honest I think the set-lists that we the fans could make ourselves had nothing to do with anything. The setlist was already a done deal months ago… However I’m glad she’s doing great anyhow, but I would rather see her do a new album instead of doing another Believe/Farewelltour.
I am going to see her for the first time tonight in Las Vegas and all i have to say is YES YES YES to the setlist. Those are the songs I want to hear and I am excited.
Looks spectacular as always, great costumes, except for the ghastly Believe rainbow outfit. Set list is looking bit boring. Everything except CTTT tracks have been done on tour a gazillion times, what happened to One By One, Alive Again, Main Man, Save Up All Your Tears. I mean c’mon there is a huge catalogue to choose from and same old hits again!
I agree with you 100%. The believe outfit wig looks horrendous! The rest looks pretty good
I went to the Phoenix concert tonight, my first Cher experience and let me say it was unbelievable. No doubt a fabulous evening and Pat Bentar was just as amazing as ever. If you can go to this concert, you will not be disappointed. Way to go Cher!!
Just a quick comment here. The set list of songs will change as the show progresses. Don’t forget….last night was opening night. So they consider it their “try out experiment. Believe me…you’ll see alot of changes and you’ll love them all. Cher dosen’t disappoint. She loves her fans!!
Hello my friend,, hope u r well!
if anyone knows its you!
How’s it goin? Hope well. Wanted to write you back the other day, but had out of state company.Hey when you talked about Uninhibited at Macy’s, we probably passed each other alot of times but never knew each other. You see I wrapped Cher’s hair in the VIP Salon before putting on her Uninhibited headdress. When she came out to meet her fans I was on the sidelines making sure her costume and head piece were staying where they belonged(ha ha). I have a great VHS tape of her meeting Macy’s employees who sold her perfume in December of that year. Love to still watch it. Hey…bet we’d be great friends!!! Derrick
WOW that is amazing,,u and CHER in the same room doing her hair and stuff,, although i’ve meet her not worked with her as u,, i hear she is amazing n very pleasant to be around..would love to see that video of her n the employeees,,,that was one crazy day in macys,,
Hey would love to talk with you, but privately. Could let you in on alot of fun things, but don’t know how to go private with you like giving each other an email address and phone #. I really keep my experiences with Cher private and not for all to see. Know how to exchange email addresses and phone #’s privately?
Have you seen this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTuhhZ-jCi4
It´s FABULOUS! I just LOVE it!
thnx for that Rony,, LOVING IT!!!
the customs look the same but i think they r differnt, The colours/design on the indian one look different,, the concept/design in some of the those customs may be the same but not exact ones from previous shows,,
I think it was an excellent blend of old & new, though I would have liked 2-3 more from CTTT. But remember, she tried to ditch Dark Lady, Gypsys & Half Breed, and the majority of fans said NOOOOOOOOOO! Let’s also not forget that the fans had weeks to offer up their preferred set lists; vote on the set list, etc. The songs in the show are what the fans asked for. So to now complain, really? As for the costumes — there were not “a lot” from the Vegas show, there were a few — Beat Goes On dress & Dark Lady; but also TBT & Half Breed — 2 costumes that will likely NEVER be changed because they are such a part of the history of those 2 songs. I LOVED the show from start to finish. Her voice was right on. There were some sound issues in that stadium where sometimes I couldn’t hear her over the band, and clearly she was frustrated over the costume situation. I’m looking forward to seeing at least 2 more times when it comes to So Cal in July.
SB U R SPOT ON<, WELL SAID THANK U FOR THAT. cant wait til she is her in NYC in MAY seein her 2x
More than a standard concert, rather more of a broadway production. Only issues I had was the terrible delays. Took the roadies a half hour just to put the stick on circle in place, albeit the crowd applauded when they got it.
The audio for Benatars set was just awful, and even sketchy in some Cher tunes.
But I suppose this was the first performance and the bugs needed to be worked out.
Well worth every cent.
Cher is a PRO — she’ll get the show PERFECT in no time — it was opening night — there were some issues mounting this show — but she will get it right — she always does — and NEVER fails to dissapoint. She’s a pro AND a legend!
who made the scenery looks great .who
Everything looks great and she sounds great. She just made a brilliant album so why not use more songs from CTTT? I Walk Alone, Red, My Love, Lie To Me and Sirens should replace Just Like Jesse James, Shoop Shoop, I found someone, Bang Bang and Walking in Memphis. My God doesn’t she get tired of singing those songs? Looking forward to see her here someday though
