God, I had to laugh when I read your comment. Hey, you might be a little older than me but you are not ancient…lol…you’re nearly in the best age a man can possibly be. I can’t wait to become 40 in 20 years and to survive Midlife Crisis…lol. No, I’m only kidding. I don’t think you are old. Cher is a young girl and ALL her fans are teenagers in my opinion.

I have to tell you that I have an enormous amount of respect for Bob, I am just jealous. I started designing at a very young age about 5yrs old. I saw Cher thought she was gorgeous. She became my muse so to speak, in fact my friends like to say “he designs exclusively for Cher, except she doesn’t know it” Bob had a very big influence on me. For a very long time all I designed were Evening gowns they are a passion as well as taylored suits which I don’t think Cher wear’s enough of. Anyway, if it weren’t for Bob and Cher who know’s? I guess I always had it in me but they are responsible for getting me started. I haven’t stopped designing since and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that Cher and Bob would love my stuff they just got to see it .I can do Bob Mackie because he is a teacher of mine really…I learned alot just by seeing what he’s done over the years and not just for Cher. I would never think of replacing Bob, Cher and him are a team, I think they have been together longer than Sonny & Cher. But if they gave me a sketch pad told me to go sit in the corner ,shut up and design I would in a heartbeat, even for free that is how much respect I have for the both of them.

Hi guys, it is so nice to read the positive and nice comments about Cher and Bob Mackie, not so sure about all the swearing???? Anyway, has anyone been on the Cherstyle web-site recently? Gabrielle has put on a couple of more interesting pieces of information including the fact that Cher has bought the land for the couple in Scotland who are hoping to help the children out in Africa. Building is underway, but they do still need help getting donated items shipped or flown out to that country. Also, a vehicle to assist the children has been given but also requires getting over there. Cher you never cease to amaze and inspire me, as you have my grandaughter Jo who is now (partly thanks to you), not anorexic, not self-harming and can now see the light at the end of a very long tunnel. Don’t worry, I live my life the way I wanna and I really don’t waste any of my time coz every day is precious – I do know that. I don’t care about people who don’t like me. I have lots of friends here in Austria and I even have some good friends who live abroad. My English is not perfect coz my mother tongue is German but I try to give my best.
No, I’m not afraid of getting older coz it is natural. It can’t be helped. Of course I’d like to be young forever but it is not in my genes. I’m not 20 years old yet but I wish I was older. I have only been a Cher fan for 15 years. I guess I was born too late and definitely in the wrong country.

im sorry tat ur granddaughter has had to fight anorexia – it is a terrible thing… i was in an outta hospital for a long time cuz of depression n met lotsa anorexic ppl – tis scary. i was close to bein anorexic an seein ppl who were alredi there scared me outta it.

Hi guys, no Marco not busy yesterday, troublesome shoulder which has now got to go under the surgeons knife! Yuk! Anyway people, I totally agree with you, the Cher dolls are brilliant and as for Britney, well appears she has finally put herself back into rehab. Who knows, maybe she will disappear? Bermuda Triangle springs to mind – you know they go in one side and just don’t come back out! Oops, guess I shouldn’t have said that. hahaha. Melissa, thanks for the very kind things you have said about my grandaughter Jo who has been self-harming and anorexic. I really do appreciate it and am so very pleased you are out of the woods yourself now. Jo went to hell and back having told what happened to her and was ignored. Two long years of court battles later she is with me along with her sister and thankfully is well on the road to recovery. She is a HUGE fan of both Cher and Kylie and has spent many hours shut away in her room here where she listens to Cher and of course Kylie. She hates the way the press over here try to demoralise Cher and I think seeing her just getting on with things and saying ‘to hell with the lot of you, I am me and I will do what I want, when I want and the way I want’ has helped Joanne to not only see the light at the end of the tunnel but to get out of it. Also of course Kylie battling and hopefully beating cancer has also shown her that enormous hurdles can be overcome. We saw Kylie at Wembley in January and she is desperate to see Cher in Las Vegas and is saving every penny she can get her little mits on. We have so many brochures here now with prices of flights to America, well I guess I could paper the walls with them. Thanks again Melissa and Jo says hi also. And Marco, thank you so much for the pictures you sent over, they are brilliant – as always. Jan

I love the new Cher dolls can not wait until they come out to get one. Has anyone heard when the opening date will be in Vegas? How do I get tickets, and how close to the stage can I get. I know the first few rows are reserved for family and friends of the cast members and Cher. I can not wait to go. I have never seen her in person the last time she was in my state I was having surgery. Does anyone know when the new fragerance and album will be out? Thanks to anyone who has the answers.

Melissa, depression is an illness and needs to be treated not ignored, and NO you cannot just snap out of it. If you are of have been suffering from this, you have my sympathies and if you ever need anyone to talk to, please feel free to email me. I guess Jo and her sister are lucky I am around, but this has of course caused a real big problem in the family and unfortunately I have now lost my daughter (their mother). I am very upset about that but the girls and their safety had to take priority. Hopefully we will be able to go to Vegas and see Cher in the flesh, although of course this is going to be pretty costly and will be difficult to tie up the trip to coincide when Cher is performing. Still, we will just have to see what happens. Ginger, I heard Cher was opening in the Spring 2008 in Vegas but don’t know for certain. Has anyone seen her lately???? Hi to all, Melissa I think if Cher was to take a peek at this site and sees that she has helped people I feel she would be quite pleased! Sara, glad being a Cher fan has helped you too. And I don’t get the ‘nasty stuff’?? All I know is that whatever frame of mine I am in, there is a CD of Cher’s that will lift me up and transport me away from whatever problem happens to be around at that time. I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to the song “Alfie” which was re-recorded by Cher for the updated version of the film with Jude Law. It was cut from the film for whatever reason, does anyone know if it is ever going to be released, maybe on Cher’s new album…..

J’ai lu (mais c’est une rumeur a 4millions de pourcent) que Cher allait participer au nouvel album de Michael Jackson et que Bette Midler allait travailler sur le nouvel album de Cher…mais c’était surement les divagations d’un(e) taré(e)…Vous avez des échos?

Jan, I hope your granddaughter is better. I know what it is like to have a loved one that is bent on doing harm to themselves. My daughter did the same thing. Today she is a happy mother of two. Through it all Cher’s music helped us make it. Her music has been a big part of my life, now I listen to her music to kill the pain that I have every day. Thank you Cher for the music for without it I could not endure.

Yes, this is so true!!!
Cher has got a very special gift from god himself. It is her voice that is pretty deep for a woman but it is so beautiful. I don’t know Cher in person but she helped me too…only with her voice! I had a horrible time in my life some years ago and she helped me to survive these awful days.
And if I’m sad and down (it does happen from time to time) I just need to listen to her songs and I feel better. It is so wonderful to listen to her songs from ‘It’s A Man’s World’ while it is raining outside. It is such a great feeling….(oh, I cnt wait for the next rain)
Because Cher’s unique voice and lots of of other things I will never stop loving her. She’s such a great human. I pray that I’ll be able to see her next year in Vegas. I have never seen her live and it is my biggest wish to see her live…only one time! I’m just 18 years old but I have been her fan for 15 years. It is a pretty long time for my age so I FEEL that I have to see her live.
Cher, thank u so much for being such an angel! You mean so much to me. I’d do anything for u!

This is a great Cher site! Thanks for posting the new doll pictures and information. I did call BarbieCollector.com and ask if they had any new info. The only new thing they told me was that either 2 or 3 of the dolls will be “Toys R Us” exclusives. The person I was speaking to said the information I had seen was called “sneak peaks” that are sent to fan club members before anyone else. As I said thank you very much to the person that posted the information. They didn’t seem to know much else about the release. I also am curious about the number of the 2001 Cher doll that they produced, they couldn’t tell me that though.

Hi everyone! I knew there was a third doll at a doll convention- the one with the hat! It would be 300$!!! I have the Half Breed one on order from entertainment planet. I can’t wait!!! I have seen Cher live 2 times and this one will be for my friend Jeannie who always goes with me, since her birthday is July 3rd!! I am still waiting for it– I just hope it makes it here in time for her birthday– these dolls are beautiful, Mackie did an awesome job!
