She said (back then) –in the very last video– she’ll be doing a movie with jennifer aniston called Breakers…did that eventually happen? If so I never heard of that movie!

love the video there all cool videos yeah matty it did happen heart breakers but i dont think cher and jennifer aniston did the video some other acters and acterss did it coze iv look every where and can not find it cher really hope you feel a lot better and i miss you cher the music not the same with out you you are so cool cher please come back to the uk love always danni your idole for life

The movie ‘Breakers’ was actually called ‘Heartbreakers’ and starred Jennifer Love Hewitt. Cher apparently turned down the role and Sigourney Weaver got the part instead.

Jennifer Aniston was also supposed to be in the movie but turned it down and Jennifer Love Hewitt got the role.

STEPHEN!! WHAT??? Breakers…is…HEARTBREAKERS?? That movie was SOo awesome!! Sigourney was classic in it! Does anybody know why on earth Cher turned the movie down? She would have been sOoOo cool in it! That’s one of my favourite movies!

Matty…I agree “Heartbreakers” was a great movie and a hit which would have been a real good thing since none of her recent films have been. I read Cher say somewhere she wasn’t interested in playing any ones mother anymore, maybe that’s why she chose not to do it…..

Well thanx for the info Eric! And it made me laugh. The “anyone’s mother” thing sounds just like something Cher would say! Such a Cher-like reason to turn down a movie! But I don’t know what to think of such a philosophy..I mean if I was an actor and I was being offered a great part in a good movie, I for one would look past my not wanting to play a father anymore and do the movie all the same.

Matty, she also turned down “Thelma & Louise” and “War of the Roses”. I really have no idea what goes on in her pretty little head. I can’t say i agree with all her career choices but what do I know she is about as well known and rich as anyone has a right to be so good for her I suppose.
I only know one thing being a Cher fan for about 25 yrs and that is she was never as critically successful as she was with her film work.
