Cher Las Vegas Tickets
Cher kicked off her final 2009 leg of her Caesars Palace Las Vegas shows on Saturday September 19th. Cher tweaked her show with additional songs belting out Fire Down Below and Ole Time Rock N Roll, set in a vintage 1940′s theme.
Of course it couldn’t be a Cher Show without a couple of extra costume changes (Believe, Love Hurts, Gypsies Tramps and Thieves, Fire Down Below and Ole Time Rock N Roll), one of which she climbs inside a car for a quick change to reappear in a gorgeous tight dress with firing red hair.

‘Twilight’ Star Cam Gigandet To Get ‘Sexy’ With Christina Aguilera and Cher In New Movie’It’s a very sexy, sexy movie,’ actor says of ‘Burlesque.’By Larry Carroll

One is a living legend in music and movies, the other is a living legend about to make her movie debut. Now, Cher and Christina Aguilera are being joined by a red-hot “Twilight” star who will be appearing in his first musical opposite the two famous females: Cam Gigandet.
“I’m shooting a movie called ‘Burlesque’ with Christina Aguilera in her acting debut,” Gigandet revealed when he stopped by the MTV studio recently. “And Cher.”
Xtina’s fans have been eager to learn details on “Burlesque” sincethe project was announced last June… especially since it will mark her big-screen debut. Some might be questioning Aguilera’s acting skills, but at least they know she’ll have a talented leading man at her side.
“It’s about a girl from the Midwest who moves out to Los Angeles to pursue her career as a singer,” explained Gigandet, whose busy post-”Twilight” schedule has him releasing the sci-fi flick “Pandorum” this weekend. “Obviously, it’s Christina Aguilera, so she has an amazing voice. She finds a club run by Cher, a burlesque club. And she takes it to a whole new level and, of course, meets me – the love of her life.
“I am a struggling piano player, and I’m currently working as a bartender at Cher’sburlesque club,” Gigandet said of his character. “Christina and I meet, fall in love, and drama ensues.”
The next question is an obvious one for “Twilight” fans: Will Cam sing and dance? When we asked the star, he hesitated to even call “Burlesque” a musical. “That’s interesting – I don’t know. There’s music in it, and they do sing. I mean, they’re at a burlesque club, so they do sing and dance,” he explained. “It’s a very sexy, sexy movie.”
But this much Cam would confirm: He will not be singing any two-part harmonies with his new leading lady. “Oh right, a duet with me and Christina?” he laughed, looking forward to the film that begins shooting in December. “That would be like Kermit the Frog and Christina. I can’t sing.”

i loved fire down below during her heart of stone tour, but i would have preferred it if i found someone had remained in her las vegas shows instead, it’s one of her classics! so happy to hear old time rock and roll is in the show, i LOVE that song! i also heard that love hurts has remained in the show which makes me happy. i love that photo on this article by the way, i’ve never seen it before. OH GOD!- i see we still have to put up with stefan’s boring negativity! also by the way, i’ve only recently heard cher’s song, with or without you, from her not.com.mercial album, and it’s become one of my favorites. it’s amazing!

I never replied before and didn’t think I ever would. I enjoy coming to this site because I’ve been a Cher fan for years. I found it enjoyable until stepfan appeared and made it unpleasant. She needs to get a life and stop anoying everyone. Can’t she see she’s not welcome here. Why do we have to put up with this. put a sock in it or be gone. Cher has had an incredable career and still has, stefan seems to only have accomplished being a pain/ negative to everyone around her. It’s obvious that she’s had to resort to coming on line since I’m sure most people that have an option don’t want to hear her negativity, why should we. Go away.

Variety reports that Screen Gems has tapped Stanley Tucci to star with Cher and Christina Aguilera in Steven Antin’s Burlesque.
Antin penned the script, which was later revised by Susannah Grant.
Aguilera will be a small-town girl with a big voice who finds success in a neo-burlesque club. Tucci is going to be the manager of the Sunset Boulevard club and the best pal of Tess (Cher). She is a former dancer who tries to help the young girl.
This Cher’s first starring role in over a decade.
The film will start shooting November 9 and should be released around Thanksgiving 2010.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just returned yesterday from the concert. All I can say was it was AWSOME The new number was fabulious and the rest of the concert was Cher. All in all I loved every minute of it and wished it lasted longer. I plan on going next year.

First of all, let me tell you I am a HUGE Cher fan. I have been to dozens of concerts. I saw the farewell tour concert 6 times. I own every DVD and CD. I have watched the show in Vegas 4 times (well, 3 times since she was sick last year and was a no show. I adore Cher. But the Vegas show is customized to the Vegas audience. Older folks who want to have dinner and a show. I just saw the show again this past sunday, september 27th….Cher looked great, great spiriits with a powerful voice. BUT, the show has been changed and now all the dance, newer songs were cut: it is kinda boring actually…all balads, many non Cher songs.
She does not sing:

the way of love
I could not believe it…instead she added songs that are not hers and although I like new things and she did them well, it is not the same

Can someone list the song list for Cher’s show now..just curious….some of these old songs Cher is bringing back are songs she has done in the past. I would like to see more Cher songs myself but I guess she gets bored but I am thankful that she finally dropped All or Nothing as I never liked that song and it bombed on the charts. One cover song that I would love to see Cher bring back is Take It To the LImit, old Eagles song. If you go to you tube and type in Cher Take it to the LImit and click on the one where she is wearing a short black lacy dress , you can see her version of this song. This is during her Heart of Stone Tour. Shoop Shoop, Heart of Stone, One by One are some other songs I would love Cher to bring back. Hope to go back in December again, 4th time. Change is good though, you cant do the same show every year, you have alot of repeat Cher fans going.

That was very uncalled for Stephan. My post was just an honest statement. And there you go by responding in such a way it just proves why (Not just you) but anyone making such long term negative comments should be blocked. It’s common sense. This is not the place for that. That is what Myspace or FB is for.
I have met Cher before. I have worked at the company that made her stage for Vegas. I have friends that work for Bob Mackie where she goes often. I have worked for the woman who ran the CBS Wardrobe department that ran the Sonny and Cher show. To my knowlege, Cher can do as she pleases.

… He’s working on songs for Christina Aguilera’s upcoming movie “Burlesque.” Danja is also developing his own publishing venture, stating he is in the early stages of “trying to build the brand and bring in new artists, new writers, new producers, and fresh new movement — a new age.”!!!!!!!

OMG!!!! i saw he rlast night and it was even better than i expected!!! Cher yeah i was the little girl crying her eyes out when you sang i still havent found what im looking for on the right side in the 8th row!.. omg guys Cher looked at me and i know that doesnt seem cool but for a 12 year old it sure is!!!! I LOVE YOU CHER!!!!

Ralph, i dont think i can quite remember all of them or in order, i know i still haven’t found what i’m looking for, then she talked, i gotta be me-larverne video clip, fire down below, ol time rock n roll, now i cant remember them in order, but i think, sunny clip, sonny and cher good times video, gypsies, tramps, and thieves, dark lady, half-breed, sonny and cher show videos, cher movie clips, after all, if i could turn back time, believe….. and im pretty sure that’s in order…. well no there love hurts and walking in memphis are in there somewhere too. and she talks once more. Are you going to see her soon??? If you aren’t going before november im sure the songs will change. if you are going its an amazing show and i hope you have fun, sit close and she’ll look at you!!! lol:) she looked at me and i cried! lol
