Cher to return to Vegas in 2010

LAS VEGAS – Entertainer Cher has added dates to her Las Vegas residency due to an overwhelming demand for tickets to her show, AEG Live announced Monday.
Tickets for the following Spring 2010 performances go on sale Saturday, Nov 14 at 10 a.m.:
April 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25
May 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30
Tickets for Cher’s Spring 2010 performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace are to go on sale Saturday. Tickets will be available for 24 performances from April 10-25 and May 8-30, promoters said.
The pop icon also will, starting Nov. 19, open her act with a new sequence and more glitzy Bob Mackie costumes, AEG Live said in a news release.
“We are so excited to return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and have made wonderful, new changes to the show, including a number choreographed by my dear friend Tyce Diorio from ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’” Doriana Sanchez, director and choreographer of “Cher at The Colosseum,” said in a statement about the stage show’s return after a brief hiatus. “It pays homage to the great movie musicals, complete with incredible costumes by Bob Mackie. We are thrilled to be able to present some really fun and new things for the audiences to see.”
Cher is to return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a series of shows Nov. 19 through Dec. 20.
The singer and actress began her 3-yearlong stint at the Colosseum in May 2008.

I hope they have filmed the parts that they will no longer do. Because I want to see every bit, every different moments of that show.

But Donna, the very point of the Farewell Tour was that it was a farewell to touring…So it’s not like she didn’t warn us. She gave us a 3-year long farewell tour so that we could have the opportunity to see her wherever we live. And now it’s just Vegas. I’m saving money to go see her in 2010.
But she said she didn’t know whether she would tour the world again. She said it was impossible but that she felt like this was it for her tour-wise. So you might still have a chance if Cher changes her mind.
PS : just watched Mama Mia….GUTTED that Cher turned this movie down.

Im soooo gonna ask my mom to take me on my birthday!!!! it would be great to see her on my 13th!!!! idk if she will though because i already went and i want front orch & idk if we can do that much:( but i hope sooo!!!! Love you Cher!!!

Can’t wait to see the new numbers. I’ll try to go on December to see her again. This would be my 6th time to go to Vegas exclusively to see Cher! !!

Hopefully by this end of the year we can have the concert on dvd as a Xmas gift to her fans. But with all the songs that she made during this 2 years! !!! Because they all were fabulous! !!

I loved her in Vegas i could of watched and listened for hours she is GREAT . I hope and pray she does some some comeback concerts in the united staes especially around L.A …. cant wait for her movies again Shes the best………

It’s amazing how much more fit Cher looks in 2009 than she did in 2008. In this pic Cher looks ok physically for her age, but now in 2009 she’s fit and looking sexy again. Cher is simply the definition of reinvention and talent.
