Cher has posted a snippet of her rendition of ABBA’s ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)’.

The pop legend, who stars in the ABBA-soundtracked Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, shared the clip via her Twitter on Wednesday (August 8).

The 1979 disco classic is well known beyond its original version. Madonna sampled the song on ‘Hung Up’.

Cher recently revealed she was recording an album of ABBA covers while promoting her role in the new Mamma Mia film on the Today Show.

“After I did ‘Fernando,’ I thought it would really be fun to do an album of ABBA songs, so I did!” she told the programme.
